Sometimes when creatures die they leave behind skeletons or bones.
This has 100 such to discover; they range from the simple evidence that something died to remains that have clearly been meddled with. They can be used as background colour or as potential adventure hooks.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
65. Skeleton of a human in two halves, the top some distance from the bottom. The skeleton has been severed cleanly at about the waist, and it looks like the individual crawled forward for a bit afterwards.
66. Skeleton that gleams in the light, as it appears to be made completely of gold. Examination shows that the gold is iron pyrite, or fool’s gold, and it appears as if the bones were transformed into it.
67. Skeleton that has been pinned to the ground with spears. Examining the skeleton shows that none of the spear wounds were of a type that would prove immediately fatal; it looks as if the skeleton’s owner was pinned to the ground and deliberately left to die.
