Staircases are a common element in dungeons, whether they are used to travel from level to level or between different parts of the same level.
This supplement has 100 different staircases that a GM can quickly drop into a game. They can be used to enliven the description of a dungeon, or as sources of potential hazards or adventure hooks.
The supplement is also available in a Pathfinder version. You do not need both versions.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
74. The staircase is very narrow, barely wide enough for a human-sized creature to fit through, and the sides are scored and scratched where creatures have caught.
75. The staircase winds and twists to and fro for no apparent reason.
76. The steps are a yellowish-white in colour with odd lines in them. On examination, they prove to be made of bones that
have been shaped, sliced and stuck together.
