The rumours are primarily intended for use with Wild West businesses, ranches and tracts of land. They can be used as background colour or potential adventure hooks.

67. The owner claims to be descended from the first European settlers who arrived in the area.

68. The owner collects blackmail material on people of importance in the area and uses it to enhance their own position.

69. The owner dominates the area financially and has many important connections. They have political aims for the future.
