Travelling through a post-apocalyptic land still results in encounters, albeit often stranger ones. This supplement has 100 such encounters for characters to have.
The encounters are most suited for use in a post-war apocalyptic setting, where weapons of every and all types have been used. They can be used as a way to enliven a journey or as potential adventure hooks.
The supplement is also available in a system neutral version. You do not need both versions.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
40. In the centre of a paved area, though the paving stones are now damaged with weeds growing through them, stands a square plinth. Going by broken pieces of stone near the plinth, it was once the baseof a statue. Bloodstains on the plinth suggest that it is now being used for a different purpose (the statue is a holy spot for a group in the area; treat them as Bandits, see p.83).
41. In the distance an alarm can be heard sounding. It continues going off until it suddenly terminates with a squawk (the sound may have attracted wandering monsters if its source is sought out).
42. In the middle of an intersection, a yellow-white pyramid can be seen rising up from some distance away. When it is approached, the pyramid can be seen to be made from the bones of dozens, if not hundreds, of creatures.
