Travelling through a post-apocalyptic land still results in encounters, albeit often stranger ones. This supplement has 100 such encounters for characters to have.
The encounters are most suited for use in a post-war apocalyptic setting, where weapons of every and all types have been used. They can be used as a way to enliven a journey or as potential adventure hooks.
The supplement is also available in a system neutral version. You do not need both versions.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
34. In a dip between several hills are the remains of an old, pre-apocalyptic, hamlet. Most of the buildings are now ruined, but a few look to still be intact. Prints on the ground near the buildings suggest that something has been using them as shelter (the hamlet is being used as a base by Brigands, see p. 83).
35. In the midst of overgrown fields and ruined drystone walls are the remains of a small farm, with a central house and several outbuildings, now mostly destroyed (searching the farm will take 1d4+2 turns and will recover one canned food).
36. Masts stand at the summits of a number of hills, all in a line of site of at least one other mast, and often at least two. The masts are made of metal and are in varying condition, from almost intact to those that are sagging against the guy ropes holding them up.
