100 Post-Apocalyptic Aerial Encounters (Mutant Future)

100 Post-Apocalyptic Aerial Encounters (Mutant Future)Travelling through a post-apocalyptic land still results in encounters, albeit often stranger ones. This supplement has 100 such encounters for characters to have.

The encounters are most suited for use in a post-war apocalyptic setting, where weapons of every and all types have been used. They can be used as a way to enliven a journey or as potential adventure hooks.

The supplement is also available in a system neutral version. You do not need both versions.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

81. Something unseen passes nearby at great speed, leaving turbulent air in its wake. Anything flying through the turbulence risks losing control (an appropriate roll is needed to keep control).

82. Sound is deadened in this region, and though the cause cannot be seen, it is from a cloaked hovering device at its centre. Tampering with the device may cause it to fall out of the sky, completely absorb sound or amplify it to dangerous proportions (roll 1d5; 1-2 results in the device falling from the sky, 3-4 in it completely absorbing sound and 5-6 sending out a sonic blast
causing 4d6 damage, save versus energy attacks for half).

83. Spiders measuring several feet across are flying through the air on sails made from spiderweb. The spiders can control their direction to a degree, and appear to be coordinating their actions with some intelligence (treat as Giant Crab Spiders, see p.97, whose spiderweb sails grant them a 60’ (20’) fly speed).
