Travelling through a post-apocalyptic land still results in encounters, albeit often stranger ones. This supplement has 100 such encounters for characters to have.
The encounters are most suited for use in a post-war apocalyptic setting, where weapons of every and all types have been used. They can be used as a way to enliven a journey or as potential adventure hooks.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
62. Shining up from the taiga in the distance is a broad column of light that almost looks solid.
63. Sinkholes dot the landscape and though most of them initially look perfectly ordinary, in some cases it can be seen that the sinkholes formed when the roofs of parts of an underground area beneath the taiga collapsed (the ML may expand the complex).
64. Sitting on the taiga is a large lump of ice looking live a severed piece of glacier, even though the conditions are not really suitable for such a large piece of ice to be intact. Those who examine the ice discover that it’s perfectly natural, though it does seem to be thrumming slightly. Buried within the ice is an old piece of technology (powered by a radioactive battery) that’s responsible for creating it.
