Regions that are in a state of conflict, whether small-scale skirmishing or full blown war, are affected by them.

This supplement has 100 signs of war that could be seen in such a land, ranging from background colour to the potentially dangerous.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

77. Soldiers (foot soldiers, see the GameMastery Guide) are blocking the road and making everyone who doesn’t look like a threat stop. They are demanding valuables, or other things, from anyone trying to pass.

78. Soldiers (foot soldiers, see the GameMastery Guide) are rapidly building a temporary fort on what could be classed as the largest rise in the area. They are working with a panicked-looking speed (confirmed with a DC 10 Knowledge (engineering) check).

79. Soldiers’ bodies lie in windrows of the dead, where it looks like a large force has been completely wiped out. Several locals (commoners) have turned up with wagons and are sorting through the dead for items of value.
