Characters that venture into a dungeon may not be the first who have done so. Other explorers may have delved into the depths before them.
This supplement contains 100 different signs that someone else has been there before that can be used to decorate a dungeon.
The supplement is also available in a system neutral version. You do not need both versions.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
57. One part of the floor has clearly been carefully cleaned, as it is noticeably (DC 5 Perception check) less dirty than the rest.
58. One wall has a smooth door-sized opening in it. It looks like the opening has been formed by magic (confirmed with a DC 10 Knowledge (arcana) check), rather than having been created when the wall was constructed.
59. Only an arm that has been effectively severed and a pool of blood are what’s left of someone who was apparently crushed under a huge block of stone fallen from the ceiling (should the stone be moved, a DC 50 Strength check without magic, there is nothing underneath that hasn’t been crushed flat).
