100 Lizardfolk of Sundara

100 Lizardfolk of SundaraThe lizardfolk of Sundara come in different kinds, and though many can be found in the Dragonsbreath Mountains and their surroundings, others live in other parts of the setting.

This supplement details 100 lizardfolk that can be used to flesh out the Sundara setting, or dropped into other campaigns.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

61. Xix’xatl: This aged Fire Crest Cinderscale is known for his personality that is as hard as his dragon steel greataxe – a weapon so large that it makes even other greataxes look almost like battleaxes by comparison. Xix’xatl is typically attired in a pair of studded leather pants and a studded leather cap adorned with coins from dozens of different cities, all paymasters who he has served over the years. Furthermore, Xix’xatl has served in several different mercenary companies, including the Scarlet Company, if rumors are to be believed. Xix’xatl is now a member of the Grayblades, spending much of his time with the other Grayblades in Ironfire’s Stone Pole district where they primarily make their living by teaching would-be glory-seekers which end of their sword is the sharp one. However, Xix’xatl is known to accept short-term contracts from the Scarlet Company, lending further credence to the rumor that he once wore one of their cloaks. One thing that is known for sure is that Xix’xatl absolutely can’t stand the Risen Legion, though he won’t say why…

62. Harakysh: This Cinderscale of the Fire Crests clan proudly wears the robes of the wizard-geologists of Magmarun Holloway. He was born in that town and never intends to leave. Harakysh devoutly believes both in the potential of Magmarun Holloway to be as great as Ironfire and also that, despite how much has been learned about the tectonic activity and erratic magma flow that defines the town, there is another, greater secret to Magmarun Holloway that will revolutionize the Dragonsbreath Mountains. Harakysh is quite passionate about this latter idea, though he encounters a good deal of resistance from the higher-ranking geologists because he graduated from Mzasesh’s Academy only a few scant months ago. At the academy, Harakysh developed a reputation for being a meticulous student. He has since turned his attention to learning everything he can about the Prim, particularly the role of Sundra and their myriad Faces, as well as the fire spirits that have shaped the histories and cultures of the Dragonsbreath Mountains. As a result, Harakysh can almost always be found in the Hall of Records within Magmarun Holloway, where he has a number of colorful and varied relationships with the clerks, scribes and librarians who work there. However, once the news about the manifestation of Bael-Kharn – and his subsequent defeat at the hands of Gnav and Marissa – emerged, Harakysh has gone to Ironfire more frequently in search of detailed accounts to add to his knowledge.

63. Kza’vynn: He was born in Hoardreach’s Old Lane district. Having spent his early years around fortress-like structures with an old grandeur to them, Kza’vynn was inspired to become a stonemason. Kza’vynn’s parents encouraged him in this pursuit, but he struggled to find mentors in Hoardreach. However, when he nearing the end of his adolescence, Kza’vynn heard about the legendary stonemason Yax’vyx who dwells in Desire’s Fall from a visiting Cinderscale who was also a member of Ironfire’s Scarlet Company. Kza’vynn told his parents about Yax’vyx, and once they verified the information, they moved out of Hoardreach and into Desire’s Fall where Kza’vynn studied under Yax’vyx while his parents worked as laborers for hire just like they did in Hoardreach. Kza’vynn’s study is far from complete, but he is a dutiful and passionate student who will do everything he can to make the most of the opportunity his parents gave him. His goal is to become skilled enough at masonry that his parents will no longer have to work.
