A Baker's Dozen of Noble FamiliesMany fantasy settings have a quasi-medieval or quasi-feudal nature. Such settings will have noble families who are both powerful and wealthy. These families can be a source of adventure hooks for characters, whether this be as patrons who wish the characters to do jobs for them or as foes whose power makes them a constant thorn in characters’ sides.

This is a collection of thirteen different families that can be dropped into a setting. The families are described, but not individuals in them. Details are given on such as a family’s history, behaviour, influence and power.
