When travelling in space, characters may encounter bits of junk, whether this be in orbit, leftover from a battle or simply drifting between the stars and planets.
The junk in this supplement may simply be junk, which can sometimes be potentially dangerous, especially if encountered at high speed. A few items may have some value and others may be a source of potential adventure hooks.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
45. Magnet – A powerful, shaped magnet that was part of a magnetic containment device. The magnet shows signs of explosive damage.
46. Manoeuvring Jets – A cluster of small manoeuvring jets from a space vehicle. Partially melted, with part of an exterior panel still attached to them, they would appear to have been damaged in an explosion.
47. Mechanical Arm – Part of a damaged mechanical arm, this is comprised of two lengths fixed together with a flexible joint and terminates in a four “fingered” hand with a small camera attached to it. The arm has clearly been broken off a larger construction, but the remaining fragment is still several metres long. The grappling hand on the undamaged end of the arm appears to be still intact.
