Settings that are modern but which are strange in some way can have items that also are not entirely modern.

This supplement has 100 such weird items to find, that range from the odd to the definitely dangerous.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

86. Small plastic bottle with a dropped in the lid. The bottle is labelled “See the Unseen” and contains a clear liquid. There are 12 doses of the liquid in the bottle, and if it’s dropped into both eyes, the user can see invisible things as long as the effect lasts. It also turns their eyes invisible for the duration, which is disturbing to see.

87. Small electronic device with a single red light on it. The device is powered, but does nothing for most of the time. The light will flash and the device will beep when it detects a weak spot between dimensions, the flashing and beeping getting more rapid as the spot is approached.

88. Small handbell made from a black metal that, when rung, makes a disturbingly deep sound. Every time the bell is rung, a living thing that isn’t a plant within a 1-mile radius dies. If the ringer is the only viable target within the radius, they die.
