100 Bridges to Find in a Dungeon (C&C)

100 Bridges to Find in a Dungeon (C&C)Gaps require bridges to cross, and this supplement has 100 bridges to do so, using the term bridge very loosely on occasion, as meaning a method of crossing a gap.

Many of the bridges need to be underground, but some could be used in other locations. They range from the improvised to the exotic to the magical.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

79. The bridge is made from bricks and a thin trickle of water is running across it, for it has a slight slope. Marks on the sides of the bridge suggest (CL 2 Intelligence check) that sometimes the flow of water is significantly deeper.

80. The bridge is made from iron chains that have been stretched across the gap. The chains are not that tightly stretched, and move around a lot when used (CL 4 Dexterity check to cross without falling prone), nor are they fastened together.

81. The bridge is made from what looks to be seamless pink stone, but the stone has a fleshy feel to it and a pulsing, like a heartbeat, can be felt. If the bridge is damaged, pinkish blood oozes from any wound and the bridge jolts as if in pain (creatures on the bridge must make a CL 2 Dexterity check when this happens to avoid falling prone).
