100 Staircases to Find in a Dungeon (C&C)

100 Staircases to Find in a Dungeon (C&C)

100 Staircases to Find in a Dungeon (C&C)Staircases are a common element in dungeons, whether they are used to travel from level to level or between different parts of the same level.

This supplement has 100 different staircases that a GM can quickly drop into a game. They can be used to enliven the description of a dungeon, or as sources of potential hazards or adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

74. The staircase is very narrow, barely wide enough for a human-sized creature to fit through, and the sides are scored and scratched where creatures have caught (medium creatures can pass with a CL3 Dexterity check, large will not fit).

75. The staircase winds and twists to and fro for no apparent reason.

76. The steps are a yellowish-white in colour with odd lines in them. On examination (CL 3 Intelligence check), they prove to be made of bones that have been shaped, sliced and stuck together.
