Mountains can be potentially dangerous places to travel through and this supplement has 100 different encounters that can be used to enliven a mountain journey.

Some of the encounters are potentially dangerous, some provide background colour and some could be a source of adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

42. Four figures are making their way up the mountain’s slope. They initially appear to be quite close, until it is realised (an (Easy +20%) Awareness Test) that they are actually very large and some distance away.

43. Freshly uprooted trees and scars in the mountain’s slope show where a recent landslide has ploughed through the treeline.

44. From a deep cave comes sounds of heavy breathing, suggesting that there is something large asleep, possibly hibernating, within. (GM’s choice as to what the precise animal is, but they will be a Man-eater.
