100 Hollow Ones for Mage: The Ascension

100 Hollow Ones for Mage: The Ascension

100 Hollow Ones for Mage: The AscensionThe Hollow Ones of Mage: The Ascension are members of the Disparate Alliance and, though a comparatively new sect, are descended from older traditions, and were until recently potential candidates for the Council of Traditions. This supplement has 100 Hollowers that could be encountered. Each is named and given a brief description. The Hollow Ones can be used for brief encounters or as potential sources of adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

78. Ollie Chapman: Whilst most cosplayers aren’t classed as being on the fringes of society, they are a definite subculture, and one to which Ollie belongs. Ollie is almost never out of character, though just what character they are in does change regularly, though the ones the Darkling chooses to dress up as are almost always from manga, and many of those characters look very distinctive walking down the street. Especially given that a lot of them are armed. The weapons that Ollie carries, though, are not real, though they do provide a useful magickal focus.

79. Oscar Quaid: Hollowers have their hearts in rebellion against authority, but Oscar has taken that a step further into pure anarchism. The Darkling wants to tear down every structure and organisation and replace it. Possibly with something new, possibly with nothing. As an individual, even a mage, Oscar can’t do that much damage, but what they can do is crossing the line into acts that can only be called acts of terror, unbeknownst to their Hollower fellows. Most of whom would be horrified by Oscar’s actions, which in some ways resemble those of the Fallen.

80. Patrick Duncan: Not every mage belonging to other sects respects the Hollow Ones, and it would hardly be inaccurate to say that perhaps the majority do not. Patrick intends to make those who don’t respect the Darklings learn to respect them, and the Hollower is willing to use any and every means necessary in order to do so. Patrick is, therefore, a disaster waiting for an excuse to happen, and sooner or later the Hollow One is going to stir things up to a great degree and end up doing more harm than good to the Hollow cause, no matter what their intentions are.
