Characters may sometimes be asking around for information and this supplement has 100 different hooks and rumours they may hear in Predation.

This may be used for misinformation or as potential adventure hooks. They are similar to the Reading the Bones snippets found in the setting book.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

30. In the Raksha Snarl is a community that calls itself the Kingdom of the New Humans, who believe they have evolved and adapted in ways that will allow them to survive the asteroid when it arrives. They also lure, kidnap or buy what they consider to be “old humans” to provide them with other needed skills, disposing of the old humans when they are no longer of use. In addition, it’s rumoured that the new humans are raiding settlements and travellers for technology and other supplies that they need.

31. In the Redjaw Wilds are at least seven known SATI bunkers, three of which are still active and connected to SATI in Kelaino. It’s always been presumed that the seven known of are merely those that are known, and that there are many more bunkers scattered throughout the Wilds. It’s also presumed that bunkers that aren’t known aren’t active, but that might not be the case. Recently, there are rumours of a map being found that shows the location of many more bunkers, and there are additional rumours as to just what might be hidden in the bunkers.

32. It’s rumoured that SATI has recently lost a number of acroplocerex from several of their sites. How someone managed to steal a number of the notoriously, and dangerously, stubborn dinosaurs isn’t known, but they are creatures that are certainly valuable, so it’s not surprising someone made the attempt. Some wonder if this was an inside job, or whether SATI is only claiming to have lost them.
