Characters may sometimes be asking around for information and this supplement has 100 different hooks and rumours they may hear in the Heartwood setting for We Are All Mad Here.

This may be used for misinformation or as potential adventure hooks. They are similar to the Rumours and Opportunities snippets found in the setting book.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

77. The Seven Ravens Army consists of flying creatures that were once human children but were cursed long ago to take winged form and, for one reason or another, the curse hasn’t been broken. They
rescue young children from danger and deliver them somewhere safe, but it’s rumoured that some of the army believe that they should take a more proactive role. That, instead of waiting for children to fall into danger, they should eliminate danger before it has a chance to cause children harm.

78. The Singing Birdtower in Nightingale is a glass and crystal tower on the top of which a mechanical nightingale warbles. The tower lacks doors to get inside it, or ladders to climb the outside, but it’s rumoured that, when conditions are just right, a door opens at the foot of the tower, allowing access to whatever – or perhaps wherever – is inside the tower.

79. The Tin Woodman has been seen chopping down trees on the edges of the Enchanted Forest, seemingly unaffected by the magic of the woods. He’s not been willing to talk to anyone who’s approached him, but those who’ve seen him say it looks like the Tin Woodman is using the wood of the Enchanted Forest to build something.
