Characters may hear bits of information when asking around and this supplement has 100 things they could hear in or about the Impossible Lands, for Jalmeray and the Mana Wastes.

Whether or not any particular rumour is true or not is up to the GameMaster. They can be used as adventure hooks, misinformation or background colour.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

89. Trial by combat is respected in Prada Hanam, as long as it has been correctly invoked, with devotees of the gods defending clients literally, as well as defending their god. It’s rumoured that this tradition has on occasion been abused in order to kill someone in a trial by combat, rather than using less legal means.

90. Vanaras can be found in Prada Hanam, though their finite numbers mean that they hold little in the way of cultural influence or political power. It’s rumoured that some within the vanaras have been slowly building up their mercantile influence, knowing that with enough money, political influence can be bought.

91. Vishkanyas often hide themselves when arriving in Prada Hanam, seeking to keep themselves secret from the ophidian ancestries present in the city. It’s rumoured that some vishkanyas are going to extreme lengths to do this, leading to suspicions that they are planning an attack on the nagas and nagaji.
