When asking in spaceport bars and other places, travellers may here a variety of rumours. Some may be rumours they are seeking, others may not.

This has 100 different rumours primarily about the Trojan Reach. They can be used as background colour, misdirection or adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

77. The shanty town outside the GeDeCo operated starport on Marduk in the Sindal subsector of the Trojan Reach is the closest thing the planet now has to a city; raids have caused civilisation to collapse and the population has broken into different clans. The spaceport is located far from any of the native-controlled archipelagos but it’s rumoured that a religious movement is
arising amongst the natives proclaiming that the spaceport is evil and must be destroyed. This could become a threat if they were ever able to make their way to the spaceport.

78. The spaceport on Dustpan in the Menorial subsector of the Trojan Reach was constructed by offworld traders and is considered neutral territory in the clan wars of the world’s inhabitants. There are rumours, though, that this neutrality is not assured, as it’s been said that one of the clans has launched an attack on another at the spaceport, injuring offworlders at the same time.

79. The starport on Oghma, home of the Oghma Raiders in the Sindal subsector of the Trojan Reach, is run by GeDeCo, and is comparatively safe, as the Raiders tend not to attack interstellar shipping. There are rumours, though, that there has been an increase in attacks on ships using the starport, and some think the Raiders are becoming bold enough that they think they can do this without consequence. Others believe that someone else is trying to provoke the Imperium into doing something about the Raiders.
