100 Ngoma for Mage: The Ascension

100 Ngoma for Mage: The Ascension

100 Ngoma for Mage: The AscensionThe Ngoma of Mage: The Ascension are one of the oldest Crafts, perhaps the oldest, around and are members of the Disparate Alliance. This supplement has 100 Ngoma that could be encountered. Each is named and given a brief description. The Nogoma can be used for brief encounters or as potential sources of adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

57. Marie Ahidjo: Marie is a collector and collator of knowledge, someone who might be called a librarian, but only in the loosest possible sense. Even though the Ngoma knows their way around a library’s physical stacks and the Dewey Decimal System from back to front, as well as other, more esoteric, ways of organising information, libraries are not the only place that Marie uses or collates the knowledge of. They are also one who is called out to examine libraries of estates and see what’s in them, and the Ngoma will see if there’s anything of interest to their Craft in them.

58. Maximilien Frère: Maximilien is a Ngoma who almost exclusively practices ritual magick, which means that they tend to avoid situations where using anything else would be needed. They believe that the time spent doing ritual magick means that it will give better results, and being a Librarian, they are primarily interested in using such for gathering knowledge. However, Maximilien also knows ways of using ritual magick to cause problems for their enemies, ways that cause issues in the long run but which are also subtle enough that they aren’t immediately noticed.

59. Melusi Nodanga: Melusi is concerned that some members of the New Kush Initiative may well be corrupted in some way, probably by the Fallen, even if they themselves don’t realise that. Melusi keeps an eye on some of the more extreme Ngoma who appear to be less than entirely supportive of some of the decisions made to ally with the other Disparate groups or to treat any of the Traditions in any respectful way. They are afraid that such things are influenced by Nephandi seeking to spread strife amongst others.
