100 Templar Knights for Mage: The Ascension

100 Templar Knights for Mage: The Ascension

100 Templar Knights for Mage: The AscensionThe Templar Knights of Mage: The Ascension are the latest incarnation of the Knights Templar and are members of the Disparate Alliance. This supplement has 100 Templars that could be encountered. Each is named and given a brief description. Most Templar Knights, by their very nature, are dedicated to their cause, preparing for the final war against their enemy. The Templars can be used for brief encounters or as potential sources of adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

21. Corey Hughes: Corey is not one of the front-line Templars, though they are usually found in a region that is often not that safe. Specifically, Jerusalem. Followers of all three of the main Peoples of the Book can be found in that city, and the Knights Templar had a long association with it. Corey is an archaeologist specialising in the history of the area, and his particular emphasis, though this is only known to the Templars, is researching the past associations of the original Knights Templar with the city, and the Temple of Solomon.

22. Daniel Willis: Daniel is a doctor in the military and is therefore around a lot of people who get injured in combat as a result. The Knight uses this contact to look for potential new recruits to the Templar Knights, seeking out those who want something more from a fight than they are currently getting, a cause that they believe in. Though the majority of soldiers who might fall into such a category lack the potential to become an Aspirant, some can still become Brothers or Sisters in the order, or perhaps fellow travellers.

23. Darcie Foster: The Templar Knights communicate over the internet using coded references that only the Templars understand, but the Templars also know that their enemies communicate in similar ways. Darcie is one of those Templars who works for the organisation’s cryptography department, attempting to decode messages from their enemies. The Technocracy’s technological advantage makes it difficult to break their communications, but they are only one enemy, and not everyone is quite as skilled at communication encryption.
