D66 Paradise Valley Encounters

D66 Paradise Valley Encounters

D66 Paradise Valley EncountersThis supplement d66 (36) encounters for Paradise Valley  in the Mutant: Year Zero setting that characters could have. The encounters are with Watchers, monsters and some other animals.

To use the list, either roll d66 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

22 A patrol of dogs of different breeds, but all Warriors (see p.191), is encountered. The dogs are all well equipped with armour and weapons and are loyalists who follow Laika 09 and take their directions from her. The dogs are all opposed to the Resistance, and are scouting for members of the Resistance or their activities, though they will not admit it. The dog patrol isn’t aggressive, as they are scouting and seeking out information, but will defend themselves if attacked. If the characters look suspicious, the patrol will report what they were doing and where to Laika 09.

23 A platoon of well-armed rabbits (Warriors, see p.212) patrolling some distance from Rabbit Castle. The rabbits are armed with at least one gunpowder weapon and are suspicious of any other animals they encounter, especially groups that contain meat eaters. They will not come close and will threaten to use their weapons on anyone who tries to approach. Even if it’s made clear that the characters are part of the Resistance, the rabbits will still not trust them, but will be happy to leave them peacefully. It will not be possible to get a friendlier reaction from the rabbits, unless the characters are all rabbits.

24 A rat dressed in an assortment of scraps is pulling a small wagon that is stacked full of oddments. If they can be convinced successful Dominate roll that the characters don’t intend them any harm, the rat will start trying to trade with them, digging out bits and pieces of scrap, most of which looks to be garbage, though there may be the odd item of some value buried in the wagon.
