This supplement is compatible with Dark Streets & Darker Secrets. It has 100 different encounters that characters could have on the streets of the dark city.

As befits the setting, the encounters are signs of crime and outright trouble, murder and accidents that are nothing of the sort. They can be used to flesh out the city or as potential adventure hooks.

This is a heavily modified version of 100 Events for a Modern Street.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

40. Horse: Tied up on a patch of grass by the side of the road is a scruffy looking horse. The owner, a 4 HD Thief, will be along within the next 20 minutes to collect the horse.

41. Ice Cream: An ice cream van has been parked by the side of the road and several children and adults are queuing by it to buy ice creams. The person selling the ice creams is actually a 3 HD Senior Cultist. Though most of the ice creams are normal, some have been dosed with drugs intended to cause the consumers to run amok, part of a rite of dedication the cult is doing.

42. Landscaping: A crew of city workers with a flatbed pickup and a cherry picker are cutting branches off trees and feeding them into a shredder that is being towed behind the pickup and spraying the chippings into the vehicle’s bed. Four of the people are 1 HD Workers; the fifth is a 3 HD Thug who is making sure that they do the work and pay the percentage they owe to the crime syndicate that bid for the work.
