100 Descriptions for Daggers

100 Descriptions for DaggersDaggers can be a common item found in treasure hoards or looted from opponents, but most are not described in any more detail, magical or not. This supplement has 100 different descriptions for daggers that can be used to make them more interesting.

Some of the daggers are strange or have definite oddities in their construction. They can be used for magical daggers or to make ordinary ones more interesting, and some could be a source of potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

63. The dagger is a single piece of blackened steel, with a narrow blade substantially longer than the handle, no hilt and a loop big enough to fit a finger through where the pommel would be.

64. The dagger is formed in one piece from a pale grey, shiny substance that has a slightly greasy texture to it. Other than the strange material, the design is standard.

65. The dagger is made from the claw of a large creature, that has been sharpened to a fine point and inside edge. The outside edge of the claw is blunt and the root has brown leather wrapped around it for a hilt.
