100 Dungeon Entrances

100 Dungeon Entrances

100 Dungeon EntrancesBefore exploring a dungeon, it needs to be entered, and this supplement has 100 different entrances that characters could use.

The entrances range from the hidden to the magical to those that are easy to find. Some can be used with ease; others are more difficult to enter.

The supplement is also available in a version for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

75. Partway down a well in the village is a single stone of a slightly different appearance to all the others. The stone cannot be seen unless the well is entered, or unless some form of remote viewing is used. When the stone is depressed, an opening appears within the well’s side, revealing a narrow tunnel leading into the dungeon.

76. Quicksand will quickly drag down anyone who blunders into it. The quicksand seems far more dangerous than usual, and it is far harder to escape from. However, it is also comparatively shallow, ending in a permeable field. A creature will drop through this field, though the quicksand remains above, falling a short distance into a natural cavern.

77. Randomly roaming the lonely alleys of a city at night is a spectral figure that appears to be some sort of ghost. The ghost is not undead, but is the strange manifestation of a portal that will send anyone it touches into the dungeon.
