Characters can have encounters along the coast whilst travelling and this supplement has 100 encounters for such locations.

Some encounters are suitable for land travel, some for water travel and some for both. They can be used to enliven a journey or as a source of potential adventure hooks.

The supplement is also available in a Pathfinder-compatible version.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

70. Seashells, all emptied and cleaned, have been neatly stacked in piles a foot high just above what appears to be the high tide mark.

71. Set a few hundred yards out into the water is a small, oddly regular island. If examined, it appears that the island is artificial.

72. Several hundred yards from the beach, a current is moving the water much more swiftly than its surroundings.
