100 Encounters for Fantasy Hills

100 Encounters for Fantasy Hills

100 Encounters for Fantasy HillsTravelling through the hills of a fantasy setting is not free of incident; encounters can be had along the way.

This supplement has 100 encounters for hills that range from the useful to the odd to the potentially dangerous. They can be used to enliven a journey or as a source of potential adventure hooks.

The supplement is also available in a Pathfinder version. You do not need both versions.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

60. Soil has been dug out of the hillside in places, creating pits in the ground. Some of the pits are clearly older than the others, and are partially full of water.

61. Standing on the peak of a hill is a simple stone tower. The top of the tower appears to be a viewing platform with a signal fire, suggesting that this is a watchpoint more than a fortification.

62. Stone shacks dot the slopes of the hills, most now tumbledown, their roofs lost and the walls falling in on themselves.
