Moorlands and heaths are closely related terrain and end to be the result of long human habitation. Different encounters can be had on a journey through such.

This supplement has 100 suitable encounters for such regions, that can be used to enhance a journey or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

The supplement is also available in a version for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. You do not need both versions.

Here are some sample results:

63. Remnants of a dry-stone wall winds across the landscape. Most of the rocks have fallen from the wall, and it is only a foot or so high in most places.

64. Rising from the moors is an outcropping of large rocks, carved into unusual shapes over time. The outcropping is clearly made from harder rock than the rest of the moors.

65. Saplings have started sprouting in a patch of the moors. They all look to be the same species of tree, and appear to have seeded at random, rather than having been planted.
