The borderlands are those regions that lie between the more civilised regions and the wilds yet are neither. They may be where civilisation is in advance or retreat and are unlikely to be safe.

This supplement has 100 different encounters for such regions. They can be used to enliven a journey or as a source of potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

The supplement is also available in a Pathfinder version. You do not need both versions.

Here are some sample results:

46. In the distance, a patrol of cavalry is galloping at high speed towards an unknown objective.

47. In the middle of a stretch of land rises a tall grey stone obelisk. Carved into the obelisk’s sides are hundreds of names.

48. Light flashes from the top of a nearby hill in a regular fashion for a minute before ceasing.
