100 Encounters for the Post-Apocalyptic Jungle

100 Encounters for the Post-Apocalyptic Jungle

100 Encounters for the Post-Apocalyptic JungleEven when travelling through a post-apocalyptic land, characters will have encounters, albeit of a different and sometimes strange type. This supplement has 100 such for jungles.

The encounters are most suited for use in a post-war apocalyptic setting, where weapons of every and all types have been used. They can be used as a way to enliven a journey or as potential adventure hooks.

The supplement is also available in a Mutant Future version. You do not need both versions.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

75. The ground here is treacherous, though this isn’t immediately obvious. Bits and pieces of broken material covered by the undergrowth show it used to be a built-up area, and there are still cellars from the buildings that once stood here in the ground. The cellars are not obvious and it’s possible to fall through weakened ceilings into them.

76. The ground plunges away here into a deep depression, one hundreds of yards wide and deep. It’s possible to see the other side of the depression, due to its depth, and from what can be seen, the depression is smooth sided and cylindrical in nature, with cliffs that would be dangerous to attempt. Vegetation fills the bottom of the depression, but no animal or bird life can be seen.

77. The ground starts to shake with a regular thudding noise, then creatures can be heard coming rapidly through the jungle. The animals burst out of the undergrowth and charge past, only attacking anything that gets in their way, seemingly fleeing in terror from whatever is causing the ground to shake as it gets closer.
