100 Graves and Grave Markers for a Fantasy Graveyard

100 Graves and Grave Markers for a Fantasy GraveyardFor one reason or another, characters may end up in a graveyard. They may be looking for a specific grave, dealing with problematic undead or looking for necromantic activity. They could even be just passing through.

This supplement has 100 different graves and markers, from the magical to the mundane, for characters to find. These could be used as dressing or potential adventure hooks.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

53. Mausoleum: Sitting in the centre of an expanse of black and white marble tiles laid in a checkerboard pattern is a square, low marble mausoleum. An arch in each of side of the mausoleum appears to hold a low door, but none of them open. The mausoleum was sealed after it was used and will need breaking into. Inside it is a white stone sarcophagus.

54. Messy Grave: An unkempt grave topped with a cheap rectangular sandstone slab. Carved into the sandstone is the epitaph “Here Lies Maxin the Untrustworthy. Not for the First Time, But Definitely for the Last.”

55. Overgrown: The grave is completely overgrown with stinging weeds and nettles, which hide the gravestone. Other nearby graves are well-tended. If the rectangular granite gravestone is cleared of the weeds, on it is written “Longar Belial. Others Died that You Might Live. Now You Lie Dead so that Others Might Live.”
