In an urban fantasy setting, characters may hear rumours about things going on that they can realise symbolise something stranger than normal happening, even if many don’t.

This supplement has 100 such rumours that can be used to provide background colour or as potential adventure hooks.

To use the list either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

30. An older part of town is a veritable maze of streets with them and the buildings dating back centuries. It’s said that there are people who have gone into the maze and never managed to find their way out again, which seems like an urban legend even for such a maze.

31. Apparitions have been seen walking around parts of the town recently, seemingly unaware that they are dead and trying to interact with those they encounter. It’s reported that those who the ghostly apparitions interact with feel a terrible chill pass through them and feel weakened for the rest of the day.

32. Cats in the city are said to be able to talk, though no-one seems to have directly witnessed that firsthand. Some say that the cats are very choosy about who they reveal that they can speak to, only doing so when there’s something important to say to them. Others claim that the cats only talk to those who are going to die shortly afterwards.
