Characters may hear bits and pieces of information when asking around, and this supplement has 100 rumours for them to hear.

Whether or not any rumour is true is up to the GameMaster, and they can be used as background colour, misinformation and potential adventure hooks.

Here are some sample results:

90. The wizard Kormydigar the Summoner was being taken to the Church of Law and Order for questioning, along with some companions, regarding his summoning of demons, but an attempt to summon one resulted in Kormydigar disappearing, several priests being killed and his companions escaping. There are rumours that a number of priests of the Church of Law and Order have been turning up dead, apparently ripped to shreds by something powerful, and some claim that Kormydigar has returned to take his revenge.

91. There are rumours about the Watch in the District of Commons that suggest it isn’t always as effective at halting crime in the district as it should be. Some believe that at least some of the Watchmen serving in the district are corrupt and are in the pay of the criminals, rather than working to put them away.

92. There were reportedly loud shouts heard emanating from Trep’s Footwear in the Market District late one night, though Neason Trep himself denied anything had happened the next day, claiming any
sounds must have come from somewhere else. No-one else was seen, either before or after, so it’s unclear who might have been shouting anyway, and most have just written this off as a peculiar echo.
