Statues and other monuments can be found in all cities and towns, including fantasy ones. They may commemorate something important or have simply been paid for by someone with money.
This supplement has 100 such things that can be used to flesh out a city, ranging from the ordinary to the odd, and can be used as background colour or potential adventure hooks.
To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.
Here are some sample results:
77. Statue of a man who, according to the plaque on the plinth, was a famous, or possibly infamous, mayor of the city years ago. The man has a smirk on his face that suggests infamous is the right word.
78. Statue of a warrior on a griffin that’s attacking a small dragon on the ground. The statue has been fashioned so that the griffin appears to be airborne, though it’s connected to the dragon and thereby the ground by the lance in the warrior’s hand.
79. Statue of what appears to be a necromancer, surrounded by skeletons that are pulling their way out of the ground.
