100 Space Age Ruins

100 Space Age Ruins

100 Space Age RuinsEven in a futuristic setting, ruins exist. They may pre-date an existing civilisation’s space travel, be ruins of earlier years or be places that have been abandoned or destroyed.

This supplement has a range of ruins for a futuristic setting, from planetary ruins to space stations.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

26. Death Station: Death Station is the nickname given to this space station which, from the outside, still appears to be in decent shape. Inside, however, it’s a different matter. Something happened on the station that resulted in those on it at the time massacring each other, and the interior still bears the marks of the damage they did in the process, through the use of weapons, including improvised ones.

27. Deep Waters: An undersea city that happened to be built in an area that was too geologically unstable. An earth tremor cracked open parts of the city and resulted in it being abandoned. Much of the city is now flooded, though there are still a few areas that have managed to remain watertight. How much longer they will remain that way isn’t certain, given the constant effects of the water on the city.

28. Dish: Mostly crumpled onto the surface of a moon is an enormous parabolic dish that used to be mounted on a structure. Though it appears to resemble a radio telescope of some description, the fortifications and defences around the structure and the weapons fire that has clearly destroyed it suggest that the dish itself was something more than that.
