100 Encounters for the Post-Apocalyptic Mountains (Mutant Future)

100 Encounters for the Post-Apocalyptic Mountains (Mutant Future)

100 Encounters for the Post-Apocalyptic Mountains (Mutant Future)Even when travelling through a post-apocalyptic land, characters will have encounters, albeit of a different and sometimes strange type. This supplement has 100 such for mountains.

The encounters are most suited for use in a post-war apocalyptic setting, where weapons of every and all types have been used. They can be used as a way to enliven a journey or as potential adventure hooks.

The supplement is also available in a system neutral version. You do not need both versions.

To use the list, either roll d100 for a random result or select appropriate ones manually.

Here are some sample results:

90. Thick, tall metal doors block what looks like an entrance into the mountain. Metal pillars stand in front of the doors and no means of opening them can be seen (the ML can decide how the characters may gain access and add a mostly-untouched bunker complex beyond).

91. Three vehicles, each badly damaged and bearing a large, partially melted metal tube on their back, are positioned so that they overlook the lowlands (searching the vehicles will take 1d6+2 rounds and recover one concussion grenade).

92. Topping a nearby peak is a circular building with a shattered dome that used to be its roof (searching the building will take 1d4+1 turns and will recover a power cell and canned food).
