100 Columns and Pillars to Find in a Dungeon (PFRPG)

100 Columns and Pillars to Find in a Dungeon (PFRPG)Columns are pillars are commonly found as a way of keeping the ceiling up in larger rooms. Most such will be quite normal, even if carved extensively.

The columns in this supplement are not normal and often do not sound as if they are capable of keeping the roof up. They can come in odd shapes and may have strange features built into them. The more normal-seeming columns may come in rows; the truly odd ones may be singletons. Some columns are potentially dangerous.

The supplement is also available in a system neutral version. You do not need both versions.

Here are some sample results:

49. The column has a strange, organic look to it although it feels like stone. On further investigation (DC 10 Knowledge (nature)), the main part of a column can be discovered to be the petrified stalk of an enormous mushroom.

50. The column has a tapering, slightly bent shape, and is covered in s shiny brown substance. Closer examination reveals that the material is horn (DC 10 Knowledge (nature)), and the entire column
appears to be a section cut from an enormous horn.

51. The column has a top and a bottom but is completely missing a piece several feet tall in its centre. If the bottom of the column is broken, the top half will fall to the floor; it was apparently supported by the missing piece.
