It’s said there are spirits in the land, and that when they grow powerful enough they wake, and walk the material world. River maidens, forest queens, and mountain mistresses, these nymphs were once quite common; particularly in the thing places of the world where magic bled through. While there are fewer of them now, and many that still exist slumber once more, they left others behind to care for their lands.
Those others are gnomes.
In all their variations, and with their strange, fey heritage, gnomes are creatures of the world as much as the nymphs who gave them life. Far more mortal than these greater spirits, though, they’ve had to find their own way in the world, and to adapt themselves to suit the changing of the seasons as Sundara moves forward!
As with previous releases, this installment of Species of Sundara may be used as part of the Sundara: Dawn of a New Age setting, or integrated into an existing setting… whichever you prefer!
