100 Things to Find, See and Hear in a Forest (Recusant)Characters may have encounters whilst travelling and this supplement has 100 such for forests.

The encounters may range from the odd to the potentially dangerous. They can be used to enliven a journey or be a source of potential adventure hooks.

This is a conversion of the original system neutral supplement for use with Recusant. You do not need all supplements.

68. Sounds – Croaking noises can be heard coming from the near distance. If characters track them back to their source, they find a small pond containing a lot of tiny green frogs. (A Survive Skill Check will reveal that the frogs are poisonous. Characters can harvest the frogs for poison if desired. A total of three doses can be harvested, with each dose requiring a Survive Skill Check with Modification -2 and 1d6 rounds to acquire. Treat the harvested poison as Potency 6.)

69. Spikes – Protruding from the trunk of a tree are several rusty iron spikes. (The spikes can be removed with an Athletics (STR) Skill Check with Modification -1 and can be cleaned up. There are 2d3 spikes worth 5 copper mints each.)

70. Squall – A sudden squall shakes the upper limbs of the trees, although little of the wind or rain it brings reaches the surface. The squall passes as quickly as it came.
